Erin Walters-Bugbee is a musician who lives in the Marigny, works in the Bywater, and makes art about New Orleans. A mixed-media collage artist, Erin's favorite materials are ink and charcoal and she prints with LaserJet, wood, linoleum, copper, and silk. Erin was born in North Carolina, grew up in New Jersey, and received a B.S. in Studio Art from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York. She moved to New Orleans in 2007.

Her artwork has been featured in NOLA NOW: Landscape, Seascape, Cityscape, a juried exhibition curated by the Contemporary Arts Center and she is a grant recipient of the Louisiana Cultural Economy Foundation and The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation. She has designed light projections for the New Orleans Fringe Festival and worked in the Locations Department on the HBO television series, Treme. Erin's artwork is included in the permanent collection of George and Joyce Wein and is on display at The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Center. She is a participating visual artist in Whitney White Linen Night and a participating musical artist in The New Orleans Film Festival.

She sings and plays piano, performing by herself and with others. Over the years, she has held regular gigs at The Spotted Cat, Feelings Cafe, Bacchanal, Sidney’s Saloon, The Starlight, and AllWays Lounge. She has been a featured performer at Antieau Gallery, Atchafalaya, Banks Street Bar, Balcony Music Club, Dos Jefes, Gasa Gasa, The Maison, Pontchartrain Hotel, Siberia, and Three Muses. Erin was an Alto in The Symphony Chorus of New Orleans, she busks on Royal Street, and is a Girls Rock New Orleans Volunteer. Presently, she is the music booker for The Starlight and Music Listings Editor for OffBeat Magazine.

Her work can be found in her studio, on her website, in record stores, and in the safe spaces of loving fans. She is interested in commission, exhibition, & collaboration.
